You walk into a Bonpoint store and you want to be all cuddly and warm, they all have this very distinctive and poetic, yet family atmosphere…The collections are elegant and moderne and so French taste with structured lines with a perfect fit. Behind an apparent simplicity, there are many intricate details. I like to balance these clean cuts with unexpected mixes of prints and colors, bringing a bit of insolence! Bonpoint is a brand for three generations of women, Bonpoint for babies, YAM for teenagers, and Innamorato for women.
Story
“Like a bedtime story we tell our children before they fall asleep... The story of Bonpoint started with a family of five sisters who became entrepreneurs. Marie-France Goutal, a stylist with Dior, wanted to dress her children according to her own tastes. Along with her sister Dominique, they created a line of children’s clothing called “Bonbon”…

They then met Bernard Cohen, an antique dealer and owner of a boutique with the serious name « The Point ». It was love at first sight, both professionally and personally, and “Bonpoint” was born, which has been dressing French children in a chic and glamorous way since 1975”. Quality
“Since its creation, the brand has retained a craftsmanship approach in everything it undertakes, as well as an interest in detail and perfection. And it’s no accident that this fashion house for children makes its own sewing patterns with millimeter accuracy in its Parisian ateliers before trial fittings or sending them for fabrication.
It’s also no accident that the brand’s boutiques can be found in unique destinations. Take for example, the one in the Rue de Tournon in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. At number 6, in a 17th century mansion house with garden, we discover not just a simple point of sale, but a Bonpoint “concept store”. A haven for the brand’s “art de vivre”, a comfortable and well-conceived boutique, as are the other ones, styled like an over-sized family apartment”. Interview by Sup de Luxe Paris.
