  • Time: Thursday, 20 December 2018

L’OPERA GARNIER A PARIGI

  • Time: Wednesday, 12 December 2018

The famous American photographer David Phelps goes once a year to Paris. His love affair with Paris lasted for more than 10 years. Passionate about art and decoration, the City of Light, continues to fascinate him. He loves the Seine, the museums  and long walks in small Parisian streets. The textures, surfaces and light of Paris are for him a source of unlimited inspiration. We asked him what he thinks of Parisian interiors; a small, pocket Latin Quarter apartment and a prestige apartment of the Golden Triangle..

My friend Anna comes twice a year from San Francisco to visit me. I am always surprise to see her energy when staying in  Paris. A couple of years ago, she told me hers secret to make her stay in town as relaxing and rewarding as possible:  “Paris is a very spread-out-city so I prepare very well my day visit, remind sporty even while travelling and eat light food in the evening”…

Paris: The Macaroon craze

  • Time: Wednesday, 21 November 2018

This small cake with incredible flavors and colors, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, has been the rage in Paris, almost as long as the Eiffel Tower! There isn’t a pastry chef or caterer who doesn’t have his own special recipe… Macaroons are created like vintage wines. The success has been phenomenal and is already part of the French gastronomy heritage…

RELAX DURING YOUR STAY IN PARIS - PART 1

  • Time: Monday, 19 November 2018

My friend Anna comes twice a year to visit Paris from San Francisco. I am always surprise to see her energy when arriving after a 15 hours trip! A couple of years ago, she told me her secrets to make her stay in town as relaxing and rewarding as possible: she often goes in Luxembourg or Tuileries garden for a relaxing promenade after her day visit and she manages her evening time with attention to make her next day in top form. Let’s see…

THE BOUQUINISTES

  • Time: Sunday, 18 November 2018

You have certainly seen them, walking along the Seine in Paris. The row of small shops clinging to the stone parapet of the river is interrupted only when there is a bridge and therefore a passage. Then it resumes, as if nothing has happened, up to the next bridge.

“Becoming Parisian is possible, but remaining Parisian is an art” said Nathalie Peigney, author of « Sophie the Parisian: Style Tips from a True Parisian Woman ». To spend time in Paris is to spend time in a city with a feminine energy. Simply the proper article spoken when saying the city of Paris is la ville de Paris. But what exactly does that mean?
