10 Bikini Trends You'll See on Every Beach This Summer

1. Spring's Breakout Color: Blue

BluIf this color looks familiar, that's because you're seeing it everywhere. Blue hues are making waves this spring.

2. Stripes

Long live stripes! Seriously. The trend that only grows with each passing year is now in swimsuit form.

3.MetallicsP00377293 b1

Let's just get it out there: metallics have a tendency to look super cheesy. And for swimwear? It's definitely not a trend for the faint of heart.

4. Ruffle Detailing

A little extra detailing can go a long way when investing in swimwear. This year, we're eyeing the sweet balance of minimal ruffle detailing.

5. All Tied Up

While we're used to swimsuits tying in the back, this new trend's got it all twisted around.

6. Floral Detalsetam

Nothing says spring like floral print. And while we love a good floral dress as much as anyone, we're putting our frocks aside and opting to bring some flower power to our swimsuit collection instead.

7. Animal Print

Another street style trend rolling into the swimwear space. Animal prints, from zebra to leopard print, were the talk of the town during NYFW.

8.Color Yellow

GialloYellow is a major colour trend for spring. It looks great with (or without) a tan.

9. RetroERES 2

Is about retro-inspired prints and underwire swimsuit styles; reinventing lingerie-inspired beachwear.

10. Belted

"We have seen a prominent push toward belted styles in upcoming 2019 collections. While reminiscent of the golden years of the '60s and '70s, a belted bottom or one-piece can create shape through the midline and also act as a focal point to elevate and enhance an otherwise simple piece.

Charlotte - Style & fashion

Bonsoir, my name is Charlotte. My mother, ex-model for Saint-Laurent, is American but I’ve lived in Paris since I was 4 years old. Since my mother was often abroad for fashion shows, my French grandmother, a dressmaker for Chanel, taught me the way to become a real Parisian. Today, I’m a wedding-planner and my husband directs a famous fashion magazine. I don’t have to tell you that I have a front seat at all of the fashion shows and I’ve developed a good general culture about fashion. Although I’m the personal shopper for my friends, my strong points are marriage and elegance.
