Montmartre, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, is full of picturesque nooks and crannies for Instagrammers in search of memorable shots. And among these places, we find the unmissable Maison Rose with its little air of "country house for dolls"! The history is also marvellous and gives it even more charm: around 1850 Laure Gargallo, wife of a painter and model for Picasso, bought the adorable shack to open a family canteen for her artist friends.

However, 60 years later, it was abandoned following reports by some experts who considered it unhealthy and dilapidated. In 2010, it became a squat dedicated to street-art before finally being renovated in 2011. The Molitor swimming pool has regained all its grandeur and is now a 5-star hotel.
