Paris is one of Instagrammers' favorite cities! Famous the world over for its sumptuous architecture, historic monuments and lights, it's also famous for the sublime shots that photographers can bring back in their luggage or, better still, on their feed! Here's the first part of my report on how to fall in love with Paris... if you haven't already!

If the purpose for which the Musée d'Orsay in Paris was created is to preserve and collect great works of art, the Museum building itself is one of those works, indeed the first. Looking at it from the outside, from the Tuileries gardens on the opposite bank of the Seine, the Musée d'Orsay is a kind of very long barracks with singular architectural lines, not without a certain elegance. And, if it looks more like a train station than a museum it is due to the fact that it was built precisely to be a train station.

The bridges of Paris are much more than a means of crossing from one bank of the Seine to the other, they're an integral part of Parisian life. Each one has its own history, its own atmosphere, its own life... just like all Parisian women. I love them and adore them. Here's a little song I wrote for you.

The royal squares of Paris are an open-air testimony to France's incredible historical heritage. Commissioned by the King of France himself, they were intended to consecrate an important event in the reign, such as a military victory or a birth, and to express all the power and wealth of the royal family.
